Focus: Learning how to use AI tools (like ChatGPT, image generators, spreadsheet AI, automation) for admin, creative, research, and business workflows
Tools: ChatGPT, Google Sheets + AI, Canva, AI writing tools (Grammarly, Notion AI), Zapier, DALL·E or Midjourney, voice AI, and more


🔹 Phase 1: Introduction to AI & ChatGPT

Goal: Understand AI concepts and start using ChatGPT for daily support

Topics Covered:

  • What AI is and how it’s being used today (brief, non-technical overview)
  • What ChatGPT can and can’t do
  • Writing prompts that get better results
  • Using ChatGPT for writing, summarizing, brainstorming, emails, translations, etc.
  • Intro to AI voice tools like ElevenLabs, Google Assistant, or voice typing

Assignment:

  • Create 3 different prompt examples for tasks:
    • A professional email
    • A list of business ideas
    • A lesson plan or schedule
  • Use ChatGPT to summarize a document or article you read
  • Try using voice-to-text or AI-generated audio tools

Milestone: Demonstrate ability to use ChatGPT for writing, planning, and summarizing tasks.


🔹 Phase 2: AI in Spreadsheets & Automation

Goal: Use AI to enhance Google Sheets and start small automations

Topics Covered:

  • Smart formulas using ChatGPT (=GPT, QUERY, IMPORTRANGE, ARRAYFORMULA)
  • Using ChatGPT to debug or build formulas
  • AI plugins and extensions (e.g., GPT for Sheets, SheetAI, PromptLoop)
  • Intro to automation tools: Zapier, Make (Integromat), and Google Apps Script
  • Example automations: auto-fill forms, create tasks from emails, track data automatically

Assignment:

  • Use ChatGPT to create 2 working spreadsheet formulas
  • Create an automated Google Sheet that logs or calculates something meaningful (e.g., expense tracker, CRM)
  • Set up a simple Zapier automation (e.g., Google Form → email notification)

Milestone: A smart, partially automated spreadsheet or process built with AI assistance.


🔹 Phase 3: Visual & Creative AI Tools

Goal: Create and edit visual or creative content using AI platforms

Topics Covered:

  • AI design with Canva, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, or Midjourney
  • Generating logos, flyers, product mockups, or social content
  • AI tools for video (Runway ML, Lumen5, Descript for editing with text)
  • Best practices for AI-enhanced content: ethics, editing, human touch
  • Generating text-to-image prompts that match goals

Assignment:

  • Create 3 visuals using any AI tool (logo, flyer, photo edit, or product ad)
  • Write and revise a caption or blog post using AI writing assistance
  • Export and share a simple video (like a promo or tutorial) enhanced with AI tools

Milestone: A small media kit or content sample created with AI design + writing tools.


🔹 Phase 4: AI Project – Solving a Real Problem with AI

Goal: Choose a real-world task or challenge and use AI tools to solve or support it

Project Guidelines:

  • Choose one of the following project types:
    • AI-powered customer support plan
    • Simple business system (AI-assisted CRM, scheduling system, etc.)
    • Branded content bundle (logos, social media, captions, product blurbs)
    • Automated task workflow using Zapier, Sheets, and ChatGPT
  • Use at least 2 AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT + Canva or Sheets + Zapier)
  • Document your workflow: what problem you solved, what tools you used, how it helped

Assignment:

  • Complete your chosen project
  • Record or write a walkthrough showing how AI helped with each part
  • Reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and how you might improve it

Milestone: A real, useful AI-assisted system or content solution that solves a problem or improves efficiency.


🏁 Final Deliverables:

  • A final presentation (PDF, video, or walkthrough doc) showing:
    • Your chosen use case
    • Screenshots or files from the tools you used
    • The result (a system, automation, or content output)
    • Lessons learned and next steps
